Spur Program

Spur Love

Spread love on Valentine's Day by arranging flower bouquets for neighbors going through hard times, or baking cookies for the first responders, hospital staff, and social-service providers who keep our community cared for.

What You'll Be Doing

There are four great ways to spread love on Valentine's Day: arrange beautiful flower bouquets to be delivered anonymously to neighbors experiencing loneliness or going through difficult times; bake cookies at home for local first responders, hospital staff, and social-service providers who work tirelessly to keep our community healthy and safe; arrange assorted homemade cookies into boxes for each recipient; and deliver boxes or bouquets to recipients to make sure they feel the love on Valentine's Day.

Why It Matters

A surprise bouquet on Valentine's Day tells a neighbor going through a hard time that they are not alone, breaking through isolation with proof that someone cares. Homemade cookies delivered to first responders, hospital staff, and social-service providers honor the people who spend their days caring for others. Together, we'll make Valentine's Day a celebration of the love and care that hold our community together.
