Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service
Each January, SPUR honors the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with a day of service activities. SPUR volunteers learn about Dr. King's mission and impact, then work together on service projects at the SPUR office or from home. Past projects have included making soup jars for local food pantries, designing bookmarks for programs that foster youth literacy, creating appreciation gifts for healthcare workers on the front line of the COVID response, and more.
The 2025 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service is brought to you in part by a generous grant from the Marblehead Cultural Council.
